‘Everyday I Love You’ — florets in Bacolod, Silay ‘The Paris of the South’

Fresh from their Just The Way You Are success, Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano — or more fondly called  “LizQuen” — are back in a romantic-drama film, directed by Mae Czarina Cruz-Alviar (She’s the One, Bride for Rent and Crazy Beautiful You), set in the City of Smiles, Bacolod City.

Everyday I Love You, is the story of starry-eyed, old souled Audrey (Soberano) who lives a seemingly content life in Bacolod with her mellow haciendero boyfriend, Tristan (Gerald Anderson). Ultimately, the pot gets stirred as a highly-driven young from Manila named Ethan (Gil) enters the picture.

An ensemble of great actors including Aiko Melendez, Marissa Delgado and Andrea Brillantes also star, supplementing this appetizing love story.

The trailer is accompanied by the classic ballad of Stephen Bishop, originally written for the 1982 film Tootsie,  It Might Be You — here performed by Timmy Pavino (The Voice of the Philippines). The theme nicely supports the film as it transcends  the viewers to experience love in an unexpected way; like the love of two people bound together in the same road yet mysteriously ends up into nothing (I’m hoping that the film will not end this way).
