‘Heneral Luna’ earns 11 nominations as Luna Awards return

Organized in 1983, the Film Academy of the Philippines Awards Night is an annual event commemorating the bests of the movies. Not until 2005 when they organizers decided to rename the award giving body and that is where ‘Luna’ was chosen among the 221 names submitted in the contest.

Due to the awards strike for two years, the organizing body is back to hand out statues on September 18th at the Quezon City Sports Club, Inc. on E. Rodriguez Sr. Boulevard, Q. C.
